April 27 & 28, 2024

Sakurathon is a 2-day event centred around all things HaruRin/RinHaru involving cherry blossoms! The 2024 weekend kicks off Saturday, April 27th (when the clock strikes 00:01 AM in Japan!) and spans the entire weekend!

rules + FAQs

🌸 What do you mean by “cherry blossom-themed”?Basically anything involving cherry blossoms! This could be a real cherry blossom tree for cosplay or merchandise pictures (whether it be in bloom or not), cherry blossom products (like tea, cakes, etc…), or even paper petals and origami crafts. For written works and fanart, the sky is the limit! As a bonus: we are also accepting submissions involving Sakura, the unofficial love child! Just make sure to use the appropriate tags, if you’re also including topics like MPREG and past relationships involving Haruka and/or Rin.🌸 Do cherry blossoms have to be the main focus of my fanwork? Not necessarily. You can be as subtle or extravagant as you like… ranging from a couple of petals here and there (or perhaps some cherry blossom trees in the distance), to an entire pool full of them!🌸 What kind of fanworks can I submit?Everything cherry blossom-themed goes: AMVs, fanart, graphics, fanfiction, fanmixes, poems, cosplay, merchandise photos, manips, recipes, etc… Let your imagination run wild! All kinds of content is welcome, as long as the main focus is on HaruRin / RinHaru and it bears the appropriate tags/warnings & rating! If you are posting your submission on social media, though, please make extra sure to use the correct hashtags so that we’ll be able to share it on our accounts.🌸 Can I submit older work that I already published elsewhere? No, sorry! Since the event includes a giveaway with fun prizes to be won, we ask that all content submitted to Sakurathon is new & created specifically for Sakurathon.🌸 Can I send in more than one submission?Yes, of course. There’s no limit!🌸 Can I include other characters and/or pairings in my submission?Yes, you can — as long as the main focus is on Haruka & Rin (and they are the endgame pairing).🌸 Is there a word count requirement for fanfiction submissions? No, there isn’t. Any length is welcome!🌸 Do I need to sign up?Sakurathon does not have formal sign-ups or check-ins.However, if you are 18+, please consider joining the TNP discord — a year-round creative community where you can meet other participants, workshop your WIPs, and stay motivated!
